Kim, 31, Kourtney, 33, and Khloe, 27, were sued for making false statements regarding the effects of the product through magazine ads, commercials, and even social media, reported Ace Showbiz.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, the main ingredient in the QuickTrim pills is caffeine, which is not effective in losing weight.
The sisters filed their response to the lawsuit, claiming that there is currently no law which holds a spokesperson responsible for false advertising and they want their names dropped from the lawsuit.
"There's currently no law that holds spokespeople accountable for false advertising -- and it should stay that way," Kim said.
