Election for the post of Deputy Speaker of the Karnataka Assembly is scheduled for July 6, an assembly bulletin today said.
Although it is not clear who the ruling coalition's candidate for the post would be, sources said it is likely to go to JD(S) as the posts of Speaker and chief whip have gone to the Congress.
