Karnataka Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah today called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him various issues concerning the southern state.
During the 15-minute meeting, Siddaramaiah also briefed Singh about the prevailing law and order situation in Karnataka.
Today's meeting took place amidst the row of several writers returning awards over the killing of Kannada writer M M Kalburgi, who was shot dead in Karnataka's Dharwad on August 30.
BJP has earlier said that it was the responsibility of the state government to maintain law and order.
