Protesters today set ablaze the house of a woman Special Police Officer (SPO) and a two-wheeler in separate incidents in Kashmir Valley, where 64 people were arrested for disturbing law and order, officials said.
With this, a total of 165 people have been arrested across Kashmir during the past four days.
The house of the SPO Kushboo was set ablaze by a group of protesters at Vehil village in southern Shopian district, 55 kms from here, a police spokesman said.
He said a motorcycle was also torched by youths at Batamaloo locality of central Srinagar during a protest.
However, the rider of the motorcycle was left unharmed by the protesters.
The spokesman said 64 people involved in "disturbing the situation by damaging civilian vehicles, stopping vehicular traffic and placing obstructions on the roads" were arrested during the past 24 hours.

While 56 persons were arrested on September 17-18, another 45 were taken into custody on September 18-19, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, round-the-clock helplines have been established across the valley for the people seeking assistance of any manner.
The helplines have been established in the police control rooms following reports that protesters are resorting to "hooliganism and disrupting traffic by damaging vehicles including those carrying fruits and essential commodities", the spokesman said.
"People who wish to inform about any issue or problem being faced by them at the hands of miscreants may call during any time they wish. The general public can also dial 100 which is already available at all the district police control rooms," he said.
