In a Facebook note, the tattoo artist admitted that she "made a mistake" naming the shade 'Celebutard', but insisted that she did not mean to offend people, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Even though I made a mistake in naming a lipstick, 'Celebutard' I know what my real intentions were. It's actually the opposite of what your perception portrays.
"Of course, it doesn't make it right, and in all honesty I have no problem admitting when I've made a mistake. In fact, it was my idea to pull the product from the shelves as quickly as possible," she said.
"It should have never been on the shelves to begin with," said Faith Bodnar from Inclusion BC, a non-profit organization that promotes the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in community. "It's degrading, and there's no place for it.
