In a review meeting here with officials today, Kataria also said that services of home guard should be taken at the vacant posts of FSL's mobile units.
Pending cases in FSL should also be expedited on regular basis, he directed, adding an advisory committee be constituted with the cooperation of experts (including retired ones).
Apprising the home minister, FSL Director Dr Hemant Purohit said last year the pendency of cases were minimised and Rs 2 cr would be spent on modernisation of the FSL in the state which included purchase of polygraph machine.
Thirty posts of scientists and assistants were also approved by the state government, Purohit said.
