Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn pretty much the same: Garry Marshall

Garry Marshall, who has directed just about every A-list celebrity in Hollywood, says mother-daughter duo Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn are near and dear to his heart.
"They're pretty much the same (person)!" Marshall said at the New York premiere of "Mother's Day".
"(They're) both funny, have a fun time on the set and help me a lot with my gag reel!"
The pair have a long history with the acclaimed director. Marshall met Hudson when she was 7-year-old while directing her mother and stepdad, Hawn and Kurt Russell, in "Overboard".
