The 27-year-old singer bought the apartment for the same amount in September 2010, a month before she wed comedian Russell Brand, reported Contactmusic.
The 1,500 square foot property is situated in Tribeca and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cherry wood staircase, steel kitchen and a south-facing terrace boasting impressive views of the city.
Following their split in December, Brand was seen moving out of the USD 6 million property in January.
