Actress Keira Knightley and Benedict Cumberbatch are set to star together in 'The Imitation Game', a biopic of mathematician Alan Turing, who helped the Allies to victory in World War II.
The biopic is based on the book 'Alan Turing: The Enigma', with 'Headhunters' director Morten Tyldum in line to helm the movie, Variety reported.
The motion picture tells the story of Alan cracking the German enigma code machine in World War II, which helped the Allies to victory, but he was later prosecuted for being a homosexual in the 1950s.
Teddy Schwarzman will produce the film with Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky, but the movie is still looking for a distributor.
Knightley will play a woman who forms a complicated relationship with Alan and stays with him until the bitter end.
