Attacking Amarinder Singh, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal today alleged the Punjab Congress chief had saved state minister Bikram Singh Majithia from CBI probe in a drug racket case.
"Punjab would have been free from drugs and narcotics if PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder Singh had not sought protection for Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Majithia from Sonia Gandhi," Kejriwal alleged while addressing a series of rallies-- at three different places in Hoshairpur.
Kejriwal, who is on a Punjab tour in the wake of upcoming assembly polls, also alleged that instead protecting Punjab from drugs and narcotics, Amarinder had preferred to save his "own nephew" Majithia from a CBI probe, which his own party was vociferously demanding.
"I have learnt that Captain (Amarinder) went out of his way to protect Majithia from CBI probe by requesting Sonia Gandhi, who was UPA Chairperson at that time," Kejriwal said.
"Otherwise what prevented the Congress government led by Manmohan Singh at the centre from arresting Majithia and saving Punjab from the spread of drugs and narcotics," he asked.
Kejriwal said there is a "collusion' among CM Parkash Singh Badal, Amarinder Singh, Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal, and Bikram Majithia.

He said it became "evident" when the SAD-BJP government withdrew all "corruption cases' against the Congress leader to "return the favour" which Amarinder did to Akalis when UPA was in power.
Kejriwal alleged that Amarinder was a "corrupt chief minister" and had allegedly amassed huge sums of money which he stashed in his family's Swiss bank accounts in the name of his wife Preneet Kaur and son Raninder Singh.
He also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying if he was indeed sincere in bringing black money, he would have immediately acted against Amarinder and brought back the 'huge black money he (Captain) stashed" in Swiss bank accounts.
On demonestisation, Kejriwal said the PM has "plundered" the hard-earned money of the farmers and the poor, who are now being forced to stand in long queues and wait for endless hours to withdraw their own money.
