Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today held a review meeting on mohalla clinics, operation theatres and medical equipments in hospitals owned by the Delhi government.
According to a statement issued by the government, the chief minister was informed that 426 new sites have been finalised for mohalla clinics.
Presently, 187 such clinics are functional in the national capital.
It said Kejriwal also asked the hospitals to make all equipments 100 per cent functional by August 31, barring some exception which can't be done by the end of this month due to logistical and other issues.
The statement said the chief minister was told by the health department that there were 190 operation theatres in government hospitals, out of which 171 are functional.
"The chief minister sought the status of the other 19 operation theatres which were non-functional and how soon would they be made functional," it added.
