BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad today said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should learn from his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi on how to deal with the media respectfully.
"Media has always criticised Modi and repeatedly held him responsible for incidents without evidence. However, Modi has treated media with respect, took criticism in his stride and never blacklisted or insulted the media," Prasad told reporters after a party meeting here.
Prasad said BJP has never objected to the media favouring Kejriwal and added that the AAP bubble had burst quite early.
"Media showered praises on Kejriwal and he got carried away. He is now upset that the media has brought him down to earth. I thought the AAP bubble would last for few months, but it has burst early," he added.
Prasad made it clear that the BJP-led NDA will never compromise on corruption.
"Our government had been defeated on the floor of the House by one vote. But we never compromised on our values. If our government comes to power, we will never compromise on the issue of corruption," he added.
