Kejriwal to meet community leaders in Varanasi

AAP leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will seek the support of community leaders in Varanasi, from where he is contesting the Lok Sabha polls against BJP prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi.
Kejriwal will arrive in Varanasi on Tuesday and is expected to meet Swami Abhimukteshwaranand, a local religious leader with a considerable following in the temple city, and the city Qazi, Ghulam Nasir to seek their support for the election, a party spokesperson in Varanasi said today.
During his last trip to Varanasi last month, the AAP leader had visited Kasi Vishwanath temple and had also sought meeting with Mohammad Abdul Zafar Hussaini, the head of over 500-year old Shia mosque in Dara Nagar area, and Mufti Abdul Batin, the Imam of the Shahi Jama Masjid, who has a strong influence over the community.
Kejriwal will camp in Varanasi until the election is over, during which perid he will hold chaupal sabhas in rural constituencies, including in Rohania on April 15 and 16 and later in Sevapuri, the spokesperson said.
