The company has been alloted required land for its third manufacturing unit and construction would commence soon.
"We have acquired the required land and would soon commence construction. We would start production in 2016-17 from that unit," Kent RO Systems Chairman Mahesh Gupta said.
The new plant would have manufacturing capacity to roll out 500,000 water purifiers in a year.
Presently, Kent RO has two manufacturing units at Roorkee in Uttarakhand, having capacity to roll out 500,000 water purifiers.
Speaking on turnover for this financial year, he said, "We would finish this fiscal with Rs 600 crore turnover, which would be 30 per cent more than the last fiscal 2012-13. We expect this growth rate for the next five years."

It also sells premium range of water purifiers under the brand name Electrolux. Kent RO Systems has brand licensing agreement with the Swedish home appliances major.
According to Gupta, it is currently selling three model of water purifier under Electrolux brand.
Kent RO today started 'Save Water' campaign on the World Water Day. In the campaign, its brand ambassador Bollywood actress Hema Malini would make people aware about water conservation.
