Ker Film Academy extends date of signature film contest

Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, the state-run film agency, has extended by one week the deadline for submission of entries to its 'signature film contest.'
The last date of submission is now October 26.
The contest, to be held in the run-up to the 20th edition of International Film Festival of Kerala, is part of a KSCA initiative to search for and promote young talents, fresh ideas, innovative storytelling and approaches to filmmaking from the wider public, an official release said here today.
The entries will be evaluated by a panel, comprising eminent personalities from the film industry.
The best submission will be honoured with a prize money of Rs 25,000 at the IFFK's opening ceremony,the release added.
The IFFK 2015, Kerala's premier film festival, is being held here from December 4-11.
