The state-run High Power IT Committee of Kerala is planning a series of networking sessions abroad with an aim to position the state as a digital destination of choice.
The HPIC, chaired by former Infosys CEO S D Shibulal, has been set up to accelerate the IT ecosystem in the state.
The events, titled #Future Global Connect, are designed as a continuation of the state's first global digital summit #Future, held at Kochi this March.
The first three sessions of the series will be held in Boston, Seattle and San Francisco on August 6, 7 and 8 respectively, an official release said.
HPIC members Shibulal, Kris Gopalakrishnan, VK Mathews, state IT secretary M Sivasankar and CEO of IT parks Hrishikesh R Nair will lead the delegation, it said.
The mission aims at activating a 'Kerala Conversation' in technology circles, engaging with those who can contribute to the digital cause of the state, building interest and generating leads for potential investments and expanding and widening the Digital Achievers Network (DAN).
The DAN consists of global leaders coming together from a multitude of organiSations and backgrounds, united in promoting 'Digital Kerala.'
