Ker trainee cop suspended for 'lewd' comments on actress

A trainee Civil Police Officer has been suspended for allegedly posting lewd comments against noted Malayalam film actress Manju Warrier on Facebook. Kochi City Police Commissioner M P Dinesh yesterday ordered suspension of K M Renjumon, a trainee Civil Police Officer with the Armed Reserve Camp here, on the directive of Director General of Police T P Sen Kumar, police said. The actress, who took serious note of the 'lewd remarks' made against her by the policeman last week, had lodged a complaint with the DGP.
The policeman allegedly posted the remarks while commenting on her film's promotional photo with actor Suraj Venjaramood. The photo was shared by Suraj on Facebook.
