Kera Governor sends VS Plea to Union HRD Minister

Kerala Governor Justice P Sathasivam has forwarded a petition to Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar seeking compensation to those whose landed properties had been acquired for setting up the Central university campus in Malathuparamba in Kasaragod.
The petition, submitted by Marxist veteran and Chairman of Administrative Reforms commission V S Achuthanandan wanted the Centre to compensate the families by providing job to one person per family, a release from the Raj Bhavan said.
K Kunhiraman, Uduma MLA, had also accompanied Achuthanandan.
