CSIR's National Institute of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST) here, in association with The Biotech Research Society (BRSI), India, is organising the global meet 'New Horizons in Bio-Technology (NHBT) 2015'.
The conference cover latest developments in the frontier areas of biotechnology including industrial biotechnology and bio-fuels and bio-energy, a release said here today.
Prof Asis Datta of National Institute for Plant Genome Research, New Delhi, will inaugurate the conference.
The conference would bring together leading scientists and technologists from industry and academics in the area of biotechnology and allied subjects to share their thoughts and views on various topics and to develop possible collaborative linkages in cutting edge areas of biotechnology.
The lineup of speakers consist of international experts like Patrick Hallenbeck from University of Montreal, Canada, Robin Anderson from US Department of Agriculture, Mohamed Taherzadeh from University of Boras, Sweden, GR Castro from University of La-Plata, Argentina, Claude GuillesDussap from University BlaisePascal, France and Michael Bott from Institute of Bio and Geo Sciences, Germany.
The conference is being participated and supported by International forum for industrial bioprocesses (IFIBIOP), International Organization for Bioprocess and Bioengineering (IOBB) and the world's leading scientific publishing house - Elsevier, UK, the release added.
