Kerala Education Minister C Raveendranath, who isalso pro vice-chancellor of the university, Member of Parliament P K Kunhalikutty, MLA P Abdul Hameed, university Vice-Chancellor Dr K Mohammed Basheer and others would take part in the function, said a press release here today.
A national conference in which vice-chancellors from universities across the country, a three-day national researcherssummit and international seminar would be held as part of the celebrations, it said.
The university would prepare "Vision 2030," a long-term comprehensive project at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore, which includes a centralised sophisticated instrumentationfacility (Rs 120 crore), Pariksha Bhavan (Rs 25 crore), centre for IT solutions (10 cr)and a skill development centre (Rs 10 crore) in the first phase.
