Kerala Hockey and CRPF to fight for national title

Kerala Hockey and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) set up the title clash of the Hockey India Senior Women National Championship after winning their respective semifinals, here today.
Kerala Hockey defeated Bengaluru Hockey Association 2-0 while CRPF blanked Steel Plant Sports Board 3-0.
Kerala Hockey scored the first goal in the 10th minute through KM Arya and defended well to keep out Bengaluru Hockey Association's efforts. In the third quarter, Kerala Hockey produced some fine attacking display again as they extended their lead to two goals as they scored through Anju Shaji in the 40th minute, which saw them secure the win.
In the second semi-final, CRPF scored their first goal in the third minute through Siddhi Singh and extended their lead in the second quarter when Priya Rai also found the back of the net in the 21st minute.
Steel Plant Sports Board tried to make a comeback into the match in the third quarter but could not be efficient in their attempts. CRPF scored their third goal through Pricilia Tirkey in the 58th minute to wrap up a convincing victory.
