Kerry postpones phone call with Lavrov on Ukraine: Russian
AFP Moscow US Secretary of State John Kerry postponed a telephone call set for today with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, who had wished to discuss the worsening situation in Ukraine, according to a Russian diplomatic source cited by news agencies.
The two top diplomats were set to talk about Syria but Lavrov also wanted to add Ukraine to the agenda, so "Washington put off the telephone conversation, at least until tomorrow Saturday," said the source, according to the Itar-Tass and Interfax news agencies.
