Actor-musician Kevin Jonas believes that his reality TV show 'Married to Jonas', which chronicles his relationship with his wife Danielle Deleasa, is like a therapy for the couple.
The 25-year-old said that the reality show provides an opportunity for the couple to review their point of view after a fight, reported Contactmusic.
"The other night we had an argument. Sometimes you say things you don't necessarily mean or can be misconstrued. All you want is for the person to be with you. It came across as me never wanting her to get a job and that I think her place is in the house, and that wasn't my opinion at all. It had to do with me wanting her to be on the road with me," Jonas said.
"It was a selfish moment for sure, but at the end of the day you look back and think, 'Wow'. Don't you wish you had that option in a relationship to be able to watch back your arguments so you can see who was right and who was wrong? (Can it be like therapy?) Yeah!"
However, Jonas said that being surrounded by cameras is equally problematic
"It takes a toll. You have to be open and that's why a lot of people have issues I think. Because you sometimes let things go under, but when you're doing a show like this it's all out there. So when you say something you don't mean, these things are lasting. Therefore, we have to work through that as a couple to be as strong as we can," Jonas added.
