The racketeers had allegedly cheated unemployed youths with a promise of jobs in various government departments.
The accused, Bharat Kumar alias Ramesh Singh, who had opened a fake organisation and created a website 'Gramin Swarojgar Yojana' and lured job aspirants to apply for 2,300 vacancies in various government departments, was arrested in Banjara Hills area by Cyber Crime Police.
According to the police, Ramesh Singh along with his close associate Rajesh Kumar Singh, both from Delhi, had taken a property on rent at Banjara Hills.
Through agents and others, Vijayanand and gang members collected between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 3 lakh from each candidate. After deducting their commission they paid amounts to Ramesh Singh to get the fake appointment letters.

All the candidates were asked to undergo a 15-day training in July and promised that they would be posted at their respective districts.
On June 20, police had raided the premises and arrested four accused, while Vijayanand, Kusha Kumar and Mohd Mobin Ahmed were arrested five days later.
Ramesh Singh's and other related bank accounts containing total Rs 23 lakh were frozen and a hunt is on to apprehend the absconding accused Venugopal, Zakir, Rajendra Prasad and others, the release added.
