The US band includes nine artists from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Germany, Mexico and Puerto Rico, who with the help of traditional instruments will perform 'Mariachi' music.
Expressing happiness over hosting the group, Khalsa College principal Dr Daljit Singh said the band will be part of its annual cultural programme 'Sur-Sangam'. The US Embassy's North India Cultural Attache, Joshua Polacheck, said Mariachi is a music form that transcends regional or political boundaries.
