In his congratulation letter, the chief minister said that it is a proud moment for every Arunachalee and people of the North East that a retired bureaucrat and an eminent writer has been unanimously selected for the award.
"A well-deserved achievement," Khandu said.
He said, the award would inspire young writers of the state and the region and instil new zeal and passion amongst the members of the literary society so that they are encouraged to contribute more to building stronger, healthier and peaceful societies through their creative writings.
