Khed: One dead in building collapse

One person died and eight were injured when an under-construction building collapsed at Mahad-naka in Khed town in the district today.
The mishap took place at around 3.30 pm when nine labourers were at work at the site.
All the nine were rescued and admitted to the hospital, however one of them, Rajendra Narayan Sakpal of Bhadgaon, died during the treatment, police said.
The contractor was yet to be identified, they added.
