Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti's Urs to begin from Apr 8 or 9

The 804th Urs of sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, revered equally by Hindus and Muslims around the world, will commence from April 8 or 9 depending on the sighting of moon.
Dargah Diwan Zainul Abedin Ali Khan will preside over the function.
Programmes of Qawwali will also be held during the Urs which is attended anually by lakhs of devotees from all over the world.
"Spiritual heads of various shrines from various parts of the country would also be present in the Urs," a statement from the Diwan office said.
Elaborate security and other arrangements have been made for the commemorative event.
