Reports suggested that the 'You Raise Me Up' hitmakers' former record label Syco had approached them for an album, followed by a tour in 2016, reported Contactmusic.
"Guys Im sorry to say but I don't know where these rumours are coming from about a Westlife reunion but it's untrue. Sorry," Egan clarified in a Twitter post.
Westlife, originally consisting of Egan, Mark Feehily Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Brian McFadden, was formed in 1998. MCFadden left the group in 2004. The four-piece disbanded in June 2012.
