The arrested have been identified as Umesh Yadav (21) and Rajesh Yadav (21).
Yesterday, Sunil Pathak, a factory worker, complained to police that his son was missing and that he has found a ransom note of Rs five lakh for the release of his son.
During investigation, acquaintances of the complainant were checked and it came to light that Pathak resided in Harkesh Nagar where Umesh used to stay in an adjacent room on rent. The complainant shifted to Okhla earlier this month.
"Police raided suspected hideouts in Noida and Greater Noida. Due to the pressure mounted by police, Umesh came to Okhla to leave the child but he was apprehended by police team and the child was rescued," ACP (South-East) Ajay Chaudhury said.
During interrogation, Umesh told police that the child was kept at Rajesh's rented room.
