A city-based industrialist and his driver, who were kidnapped two days ago by four men dressed in police uniform, today returned home with police claiming that they have identified the gang involved in the crime.
Although family of the industrialist is tight-lipped over his return, it is suspected that a ransom was paid to the kidnappers for his release, sources said.
Two suspects have been rounded up in this connection, police said adding that raids were being conducted to nab the culprits.
26-year-old Munish Brara was allegedly kidnapped along with his driver by four men on national highway number 1 near Kadon village on Saturday.
Brara was returning home in his BMW car when the vehicle was intercepted by the unidentified men.
As soon as the driver stopped the car, the armed men pounced upon Brara and pulled him out, said police, adding that the kidnappers were wearing police uniforms.
