Kids today are in sync with fashion trends: Archana Kochhar

Ace designer Archana Kochhar, who is all set to present a collection for children, says the little ones are quite aware of the fashion trends these days.
Known for her bridal and couture collection, the designer is all set to enter the kid's category and launch her new line 'Noni'.
Named after her daughter Simran, fondly known as Noni among her friends and family, Archana will launch her kids wear line at the India Kids Fashion Week in Mumbai on June 5, which is the last day of the (IKFW).
"This is our first kids wear collection and has been designed keeping their comfort in mind. The collection will revolve around three categories - from flower girls to next-gen boys to elegant couture pieces," Archana told PTI.

While working on her collection, she kept in mind the taste and preferences of the little ones.
"Today not just the parents, but the kids too are so aware and in sync with the latest fashion trends. They exactly know what they want to wear to a birthday party or to a wedding, so it was high time we paid attention to their taste," she said.

"The inspiration behind this collection was also everything kids love," she said.
The colour palate is all bright with shades of ivory, pink and green playing around the garments.
Besides this, Archana is in discussion for styling in a few films, but does not want to reveal about it now.
