Actress Kim Basinger, who played the Bond girl in 'Never Say Never Again' apologised for producing bad comedies during her acting career.
The 60-year-old actress has tried her hand at comedies and says she had less success with her funny films, reported Contactmusic.
"I know what it takes to put a film together but I can't help produce some really bad comedies sometimes. I'm sorry," she said.
"I've made some bombs in my life but I came from comedy and worked with some really great people, who taught me so much. I had great teachers so whenever I get to exercise that, I do," she added.
Among her comic roles are 1987's 'Blind Date' alongside Bruce Willis, which was panned by critics, as well as 'My Stepmother is an Alien'.
Basinger has been critically acclaimed for her work in dramas such as 'The Natural' and 'LA Confidential', for which she won an Academy Award.
