Celebrated South Korean filmmaker Kim Ki-duk, who has a great fan following in Kerala, is expected to attend the ongoing International Film Festival of Kerala here.
The event got underway on Friday with the screening of Israeli movie 'Ana Arabia'.

His movies run to packed houses during film festivals in the state.
Kim's latest movie 'Moebius' is scheduled to be screened next week as part of the present edition of IFFK.
The audience roared in approval when Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, during the inaugural ceremony, said Kim Ki-duk had shown readiness to visit the state next week and participate in the valedictory section.
Academy sources also said they had hired the service of a translator for the assistance of the film-maker on his request.
