Walking through the sprawling police complex accommodating the Police Training School, playground and police quarters, she said 'shramdaans' should be conducted every Saturday in the complex and cleanest and best blocks would be identified for recognition.
She was accompanied by the Director General of Police S K Gowtham and Senior Superintendents of Police Rajeev Ranjan and A K Gawas.
The former IPS officer had been visiting every week end various pockets in and around Puducherry to implement Swachch Bharth and Swachch Puducherry schemes since she became the Lt Governor on May 29.
Students utilising the police play ground would be enrolled as student police cadets, it said.
