Kiran More gives tips to young Mumbai stumpers
Press Trust of India Mumbai Former India stumper Kiran More is here to guide and give his expertise to young Mumbai wicketkeepers at the Mumbai Cricket Association's indoor academy at the Bandra Kurla Complex.
More, who came here on a request from former India captain and MCA Vice President Dilip Vengsarkar and Mumbai Ranji coach Chandrakant Pandit - himself an ex-stumper - is sharing his knowledge and nitty gritties of standing behind the wicket with Mumbai's young keepers, a media release said.
Seven stumpers from U-14 and U-16 and nine from U-13 groups are accommodated in this special wicket keeping camp organised by the MCA.
Today former chief selector Vengsarkar visited the camp and discussed many things with Kiran More and Mumbai's U-23 coach Vinayak Mane. The camp would last for eight days in two sessions, the release added.
