The 17-year-old Kocchar, who recently won a title on the Indian PGTI professional Tour while being an amateur, will meet another 17-year-old Arjun Prasad, who won the Faldo Series Grand Final this year.
First thing in the morning, Kocchar won his quarter-finals playoff against Aalap IL on the 19th hole. He then went on to the semi-finals where he defeated Pukhraj Singh Gill 2&1. Arjun Prasad beat Yashas Chandra with a score of 3&2.
The Indian Golf Union is the organiser and is supported by its partner Rolex. The event is being supported by the RCGC and is managed by Protouch Sports. The iconic Oberoi Grand is the hospitality partner to the event.
