Saroj Kumar Sanyal, the present vice-chancellor of the Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya said "this evening I received a fax message from the Chancellor informing me that Koley would be the new vice-chancellor."
Till Koley takes over B P Mondal would be the officiating vice-chancellor of the university, he said.
The Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya is located at Mohanpur at Haringhata in Nadia district.
