Printer maker Konica Minolta is aiming to touch Rs 500 crore in revenues in the next 2-3 years as it expands its presence in the Indian market, driven by the enterprise and SOHO segment.
The company, which registered revenues of Rs 228 crore last fiscal, expects to close this year with over Rs 300 crore in topline.
"We are witnessing strong growth in India and it is one of the most important markets for us. We are market leaders in the production printer category (50 per cent) and have a good share in the A3 category as well," Konica Minolta Executive General Manager (Marketing Sales and Marketing Division) V Balakrishnan told PTI.
The company expects to achieve revenues to the tune of Rs 500 crore in the next 2-3 years, he added.
Konica Minolta claims to have a 27 per cent share of the colour A3 and 17 per cent share of the monochrome A3 printer category. It forayed into the A4 category last year and is aggressively expanding its product portfolio.
"We recently invested USD one million in setting up our first digital imaging square at Gurgaon. This serves as a showcase for our multi function and production printers for corporate and commercial sectors," he said.
Balakrishnan added that the company is working on expanding its touch points in the country to reach more enterprise and small office-home office (SOHO) users.
