Two Karbi Peoples Liberation
Tigers (KPLT) linkmen were apprehended from Bargaon area in Assam's West Karbi Anglong by a joint army and police team, defence sources said.
The troops of the Red Horns Division launched a joint operation with police and yesterday netted the two men identified as Romen Phangho (29) and Dhensing Kro (26) residents of Arokangoang under Baithalangso PS.
After preliminary questioning and interrogation one pistol, six pairs of Combat pattern dress, KPLT demand letters and other documents of the banned organisation were recovered from the two men, the sources said.
