All Displaced Youth Forum of Kashmiri Migrants (ADYFKM) demanded immediate implementation of employment package and enhancement of the monthly relief, by the state government.
"The migrant community in general and youth in particular warn the state government to stop step-motherly treatment towards migrants and resolve all their pending issues," chairman of ADYFKM, Sanjay Koul told reporters here.
The Kashmiri Pandit's body threatened to launch a mass agitation during ensuing Assembly session in Jammu and Kashmir from end of February if government failed to fulfill its demands.
"The government has failed to implement the Prime Minister's Employment Package, offering 6,000 posts in the Kashmir Valley for youth of the community, despite their promises," Koul said.
He claimed that around 1,400 posts have been filled till date.
The state government has forwarded a proposal to New Delhi to increase the relief package from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 per month per family, but nothing has been done till now, he added.
