TDP President Chandrababu Naidu today said that its "shameful" that the Centre was not ready to hear out people from Andhra Pradesh on the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal verdict, which has left the state disappointed on account of serious implications for ongoing and executed projects on the river.
Naidu has been seeking an appointment with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to discuss urgently the ramifications that AP may face after allocation of Krishna waters since the final ruling by the Tribunal last week, but has not yet received any communication in this regard from the PMO.
"Its a shame..The PM is acting on 'instructions' from 10 Janpath on allocation of time. We have to fight against the adamant and indecent attitude of the Union government," he said addressing a gathering of partymen and farmers here at the TDP 'Mahadharna', without taking any names.
He also asked the people of Andhra Pradesh to reject the final ruling on the sharing of Krishna waters.
"None of the central ministers speak on the injustice done to AP in the Krishna Tribunal Award. Unless we fight and defeat the Congress, the future of Andhra will be in danger," Naidu warned.
If the final ruling is implemented, we have to face crisis on both irrigation and drinking water front in the coming years, he added.

Naidu said the award denied Andhra its rights on "surplus waters", which may bring many projects in various stages of completion to a grinding halt.
He also said that the state government had failed to put forward a meritorious case before the Tribunal to get justice.
On November 29, the Tribunal, headed by Justice Brijesh Kumar, came out with its final award on sharing of Krishna river waters among Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
It allotted four thousand million cubic (TMC) of water from Karnataka's share to Andhra Pradesh and at the same time allowed the former to increase the storage in Almatti dam to 524.256 meters.
