Krishnakumar assumes charge as Chancellor

:Dr P R Krishnakumar today assumed charge as the Chancellor of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for women (Avinashilingam University for Women), here for a five year period.
Krishnakumar, Managing Director of Arya Vaidya Pharmacy here, succeeds T S K Meenakshisundaram, who demitted office yesterday, a University release said.
Recipients of many awards, including from various State governments, universities and associations, he has been honoured by the union Government with Padmashri award in 2009 for his contributions to the field of Ayurveda.
