Stewart said she was very young when Moore's husband Bart Freundlich directed her in a 2004 crime comedy 'Catch The Kid', reported E!Online.
"I've known her for a number of years (because) I worked with her husband (Bart Freundlich) on a movie that I did when I was really little called 'Catch That Kid'," she said.
In 'Still Alice', Stewart, 24, plays the daughter of a woman with Alzheimer's, played by Moore.
