The pair reportedly agreed to a trial separation while the Pattinson films 'The Rover' in Australia.
Despite agreeing to no contact while he is away, the 23-year-old actress has penned her innermost feelings in a note to the hunky star in a bid to repair their fractured relationship, reported Showbizspy.
"Kristen wrote a long letter, explaining her love to Rob. Even if he can't forgive her, he should know that she is closer to him than anyone else could ever be," a source said.
Meanwhile, Stewart is said to be "angry" that Pattinson is not giving her enough attention while he films in Australia.
"She was devastated when Rob suggested they go on a trail separation, and Kristen has been eager to visit him, but now she is getting seriously angry at Rob because he is so bad at keeping in contact," a source added.
"With Robert out the country, a thousand miles away working in Australia, Kristen has been missing him badly. Robert is often starting his working day when Kristen is busy, and vice versa.
"And he is not the best at sending texts, or keeping in touch in the first place. Kristen is angry with him because she thinks he is not giving her enough attention
