All further proceedings should be attended by thenew SPP, a division bench of the Commission, comprising its Chairperson Shobha Kosy and member K Naseer, said.
The bench which gave its ruling on a petition by the child'suncle Sreejith Namboothiri, also made it clear that a person who hasa fair knowledge in criminal laws and criminal cases should be appointed under Section 24(8) of the Criminal Procedure Code, a release from the commission said.
Kozhikode City Police Chief, Nadakkavu Police Inspector, Kozhikode Publice Prosecutor and Kozhikode Medical College Forensic Chief should file their replies before the Commission within10 days ovee objections by the petitioner,it said.
