KSG urges govt to initiate steps to solve unemployment problem

The Karaikal Struggle Group, a non political outfit, today said that it wanted the next ministry to initiate steps to tackle unemployment problem in Karaikal and also to address its woes through effective action plan.
Convenor of the Struggle Group S P Selvashanmugham alleged here that the AINRC government had had failed to initiate steps to relieve Karaikal region of various hardships.
Selvashanmugham said that the region required a super speciality hospital.
Vacant posts in the Groups B, C and D categories should be filled through Employment Exchange and by recruting candidates hailing from Karaikal, Selvashanmugham said.
