The Kerala State Human Rights Commission today recommended removal of a woman anganwadi teacher from service after a video clipping showed extreme cruelty on her part towards a three-year-old kid.

"The video clipping shows extreme cruelty on the part of an anganvadi teacher towards a three-year-old student," Commission Acting Chairman P Mohana Das said, taking a suo-motu case against the lone staff of the Anganwadi in Mulanthuruthy area, based on a media report.

A commission release said the child expressed her desire to go to the toilet, which was snubbed by the teacher(aaya) thrice, resulting in her urinating inside the class.

"The teacher got furious over the incident. The child was subjected to extreme physical harassment and she was even sent out from the class."
