Kumbh Mela: Coaches of trains connecting Allahabad to different parts of India to be refurbished

With an eye on the Kumbh Mela to be held here next year, the Railways has decided to refurbish the coaches of prestigious trains connecting Allahabad to different parts of the country, an official of the North Central Railway said.

Inspecting a refurbished 'Kumbh-2019' theme-based air-conditioned coach, at Allahabad Junction station, North Central Railway General Manager Rajiv Chaudhry said, "This coach will be attached to the prestigious Prayagraj Express to provide a delightful experience to passengers visiting Allahabad for the Kumbh Mela."
