Cancer survivor Kylie Minogue is to be honoured for helping others battling the disease.
The Australian pop star, who has fought breast cancer in the past, will be presented with the 2013 Courage Award from the Entertainment Industry Foundation's (Eif) Women's Cancer Research Fund, reported Contactmusic.
Minogue will be handed the honour at a glitzy ceremony in Beverly Hills, California next month in recognition of her "fight against breast cancer and dedication to raising awareness for the disease".
Fashion designer Carolina Herrera will take home the Nat King Cole Award in honour of her philanthropy.
The gala, titled An Unforgettable Evening, will be hosted by funny woman Chelsea Handler at the Beverly-Wilshire Hotel on May 2 and will feature a performance from singer Bruno Mars.
